Shaun’s experience in the Amusement & Attractions Industry as Consultant, Operator and Planner has enabled him to gain a wealth of attractions industry knowledge over the past 25 years planning and preparing new businesses for operations, building strong, engaged and safe workplace cultures, impacting job performance, quality service excellence delivery, efficiency and productivity. His expertise lies in attraction planning, operations, organizational development, employee engagement and service excellence delivery.

Shaun is past Chair of the IAAPA Asia Pacific Education Committee and IAAPA Global Human Resources Committee, Member of IAAPA Asia Pacific Advisory Committee. Shaun contributed to the success of the Brass Ring Awards, the IAAPA Show Ambassador program, featured as a regular key note international speaker for attractions, and current head faculty for the IAAPA Institute for Attraction Managers.

Shaun is Founder and CEO of Attractions Academy, which delivers attraction operations planning, organizational development and global training services. Shaun managed the culture and people development of Australia’s premier theme parks, including Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World Theme Park & Resort Hotel, Wet ‘N’ Wild Water World, Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country.  Beginning with extensive frontline experience in Rides & Attractions and Park Operations, he has held management roles in Theme Park Operations, Training, Human Resources, Revenue Operations and Admissions. His extensive industry career has included experience across the breadth of the Amusement & Attractions Industry including family entertainment centres  theme parks, hotels, zoos, water parks, cultural centres, museums and destination resorts.
